It started on a Minecraft server called HylexMC — inside a gamemode called Gens Tycoon. Ankush and Tanmay didn't know it yet, but that server was the beginning of everything.
They played for hours. Became inseparable. Then they started winning — four consecutive seasons at the top of the leaderboard.
Everyone wanted to be on our team. Nobody else got close.
In 2024, Ankush started Gosyntech Hosting — free Minecraft hosting for people who wanted a server but couldn't afford one. It was a hit.
But the big part wasn't the free hosting. It was what he did next. He built the v1 panel from absolute scratch. PHP. HTML. CSS. JavaScript. Raw HTTP requests. No WordPress, no cPanel, no external software of any kind.
Because he wanted full control — over every feature, every bug, every customer request. That decision would define everything Shulker became.
Tanmay showed up at the end of 2024. Ankush noticed three things instantly: he could find bugs nobody else could, he knew how to bring customers in, and he wrote code the way it should be written.
Ankush brought him into Gosyntech. What had been a one-person project suddenly had a partner. It went from a small idea to something real. Fast.
At the end of 2025, they launched Shulker together. It started with just Minecraft hosting.
The first month? Zero customers. Not one. The dashboard stayed empty. The numbers were red. Most founders walk away at this point. They didn't. They kept shipping, kept improving, kept believing.

Mid-January, the first customer arrived. They praised him like a god — because to them, he was.
They worked day and night for that one person. Shulker v1 shipped. Then v1.1. Then panel upgrades. Every bug he found became a gift. Every feature he asked for became a mission.
That first customer didn't just buy hosting. He gave us a reason to keep going.
In Mid-February, a special person came into Ankush's life — someone who gave him a reason bigger than himself. A reason to win.
From that moment, the mission wasn't just about servers anymore. It was personal. Tanmay saw it. They both worked harder than they ever had. New services shipped. New standards were set. The bar kept rising.
DevSpace launched — a cloud environment that could host anything. Colide launched — an AI agent that could manage your entire infrastructure.
Then VPS hosting, the best one out there. Website hosting. SDX file storage API. Database hosting. Container hosting. Reseller hosting. Web server stores.
Most of it free. All of it built in-house. Slowly, steadily, people started to arrive. And they stayed.
Today, in October 2026, Shulker serves more than 18,000 users. Two players who met on HylexMC. A team of 20+ people.
